Still looking for more information. I checked the Craig Fire & Rescue website and didn't see this listed anywhere. Also still looking for the original wording on the mill levy increase.

I need to correct my earlier posting. What I meant to say was;
Please show up in court AND keep this very public by writing letters to the editor.
I feel we can not allow this event to fade into the background. Craig will lose the charm of a safe community if we fail to do something. It is obvious to me that the judge can not see this without our help.

You know folks, I've had a second thought. We can share our thoughts here, we have done that. However, there are many people (especially older) who do not own a computer. I think letters to the editor are a better way to show our support for this couple and the community.

All,
If possible, please show up in court on Tuesday @ 8:30. This judge needs to see our faces. She needs to see that she has an obligation to protect each and every one of us.

To: Rocky Mountain,
A protective order was issued? This is nothing more than a piece of paper. How does this protect the victims and our community?
Presumed innocent? The guy was arrested on the property with the victim's blood on him. I applaud the Craig PD and the District Attorney for fulfilling their responsibility to serve the community. I am DEEPLY disappointed in the judge's decision to grant a low bail amount. This ruling sends a message that the judge is more concerned with the criminal's rights than she is for the victims, or our community.
I personally feel that the judge owes our community a public explanation for why she ruled to make our town a less safe place to live. This is the statement that was sent when a ridiculously low amount of bail was set.
How many people does this criminal need to attack before the judge understands that he is a RISK to our community? The public understands this very well. The bail should have been set much higher to protect the truly innocent until this criminal has his day in court.
I will be watching the proceedings. Unless this wrong is corrected, I will be voting “do not retain.”

VIC - I could not agree more. The judge owes these folks protection & justice. An apology to the entire community should be sincerely given.
Judge Garner - shame on you!
lawmaker - Please don't insult boys. This piece of scum does not live up to the standard of the term “boy.”
To the Dear Folks this happened to; I will keep you in my prayers and wish health and serenity to you.
To the scum who did this; you won't be forgiven! What a coward you are!

I am curious. It has been said that this business is at 611 Breeze Street. I thought that is a residential area. If so, how can anyone open a business there? Were the neighbors given any choice in this?
