These politicians have no knowledge of what firearms are, the functionality of specific firearms or the accessories related to any firearm.
How can they be qualified to create legislation regulating firearms?
They are, in fact, only legislators groping around in the dark.

My five year old son knows more about firearms than these politicians.

Also there must be something terribly wrong when this guy gets out of prison after killing his Grand mother with a hammer when the death penalty was more appropriate.
This is a reflection on our justice system, NOT more gun control.

Nutcase kills two firefighters in N.Y. was convicted of manslaughter in 1981 for beating his 92-year-old grandmother with a hammer, was released from prison in 1998.
Gun control nuts weren’t outraged at the monster who carried out the shootings. No, they were outraged at the NRA.
Looks like we need more prisons, not gun laws.
Nuts like these do not follow any law…not even the ten comandments.

New laws will not curtail these psychotic killers from venting their frustrations on innocent victims.
Laws are for politicians and law abiding people…not law breakers.
A person in this state of mind is not inclined to pay any attention to a law they will move on to another wepon, Gas, Explosives or something even more destructive.

Passing laws prohibiting the consumption of alcohol was a fruitless attempt to keep people from the evils of alcohol…how did that work out.

Politicians love to pass laws for people to ignore…new gun laws will only drive up the price of guns and promote a new black market for these guns.

Controle of nut cases might be a first step.

Some of us live by the law of our new homeland, learn the new language and respect others, and don’t bring up the race card when things don’t turn out the way we expect.

Some of us brown people have honor.

    Craignative,
My sentiments exactly, this nightclub fiasco was never about ethicality, it is about honesty and lack of a good business plan.
Who tries to start a business if they don’t bother to read or understand the fine print.
    This was blatant deception.

White, non-White, not the issue…literacy, the lack of and deceit are the issue.
