What a great article. I know, work with and admire Dr. Ellis, he is a wonderful, caring man and it does not surprise me one bit that he has something to do with this program. I also know Sue Jones, a long time friend and acquaintance. It is simply tragic what has happened to her, however I am brought to tears knowing the something as simple as a horse has begun her road to recovery.
I have to admit, I am not of the religious type, but I feel truly blessed to know these people.

At least they trapped and relocated it, not like the one that was shot and killed last year in Craig for roaming about, sorta like bears do.
Kudos to the CPW for handling it the right way instead of the knee-jerk way.

This is great, am happy to see that ratty building gone and something useful put in its place. Same for next door, something going up there too.
One question though….wasn't the house two doors down a “Habitat for Humanity” project? I thought it was, which makes the comment in the story kind of confusing. Just curious.

Guess the “leadership” of the county never look at what their people think. This poll is now pointless.

Something like obamacare will probably kill a program such as this, It is going to be hard enough for existing medical facilities and providers to survive anyway.
A waste of our taxpayer dollars. I for one, a taxpayer, am not for this idea. The hospital is already owned by the county, why would you bring in something to compete with a county owned facility? It would be like road and bridge competing with the fairgrounds over plowing rights, it just does not make much sense.

I am going to place myself in the “I don't want to own a sporting rifle capable of accepting high-capacity magazines” as defined by the ordinance itself.
As far as home security, my 20 gauge will more than do the job therefore negating the “need” for the “sporting rifle capable of accepting high-capacity magazines”.

According to the caption under the photo of the carnival, graduation will be held in front of the Wacky Shack…seating is limited to four steel benches, cotton candy will be served.

On a different note, please do not waste any money on the ladder climb game pictured in this photo in front of the wheel and next to the shack…it is literally impossible to win. I spent an evening watching person after person fall off of the ladder, to ring the cowbell you would have to risk personal injury. Of all the sham games at these things, this is the king of sham games.
Otherwise, the kids seemed to have a good time, am happy this only comes once a year and will be even happier when she finally outgrows it.
