David Moore 2 weeks ago on CDOT reports new wildlife fencing mostly successful, but some smart deer are slipping past

I have seen crossings go UNDER the road, but never over, which is why I am confused how the animals are supposed to get over. I guess if they are spending that much on it they know what they're doing. As far a dumb animals, one would think that after almost a couple centuries of automotive transportation that they would avoid the loud machines with bright lights on the big black strip. But no, they don't, they just stand there like the dumb animals they are until the big loud semi turns them, their children, and whatever part of the family dumb enough to follow into a magpie smorgasbord. At least they gave us that great saying.

Holy cow stop the presses, throw the baby out with the bath water and wrangle in the moon. I agree with you Allen. Did I just say that, yes, I did. Trump speaks exactly how most of this country feels yet are too afraid to admit and I will vote for him without hesitation. Short of executing children stealing a candy bar, for once we think alike. Amazing.

Well, at 90 degrees to the road, I guess they will need some smarts, and yes, I cannot see a way over that contraption. Please, oh forum lord, enlighten me, I have no issues with learning, unlike some. As far as dumbest animals on the planet, after over 100 plus years of automotive travel over the big black stripe, one would think evolution would teach them not to walk blindly onto it. Even stupid people have learned that.

All I got is a photo here but if that is a wildlife "overpass", are they (CDOT) going to provide climbing gear or an elevator/escalator to get over that thing? Those sides are 90 degrees to the road, how is something supposed to get "over" that?

Maybe not at or in front of the store proper, but close enough. Someone needs to intervene before a fatality at Craig's most dangerous intersection happens. We expand a store that needs no expanding and leave the busiest convenience store to fend for itself. Genius.
