Right on, 50cal. Isn't it sad, though, the number of folks around that, regardless of the home-teaching that did NOT take place, and regardless of the totally improper things the kids then do, it still so often becomes someone else's fault, not their kid, and nearly a conspiracy against them.

    I appreciate your last post!

Sorry for the pain…CAN happen anywhere…all too often does…still, not everyone in LE is that way…and still, to keep one's nose clean is the right thing to do.

How does that saying go: It's never wrong to do the right thing, nor right to do the wrong.

Actually, no. Just an average citizen. I didn't mean that comment to be toward you, as your post was generally positive…and I agree with most of it. Many posters, though, gripe and whine and paint LE as monsters (and yes, there can be some of those), without also expressing the need to simply choose to live within the law.

I learned (living within the law, rather than always railing against it) that growing up. Is that still taught?

Moffat county is still the home of “come on vacation leave on probation.” Law enforcement here uses it as a means of money for their self serving ways.

I would like to suggest a bettter approach. Try this one: “Keep your nose clean, LE won't seem mean.”

Question of the week

News this week showed snowpack in the Yampa River basin has reached 94 percent of median for the date. Do you think Moffat County is out of the woods as far as drought concerns?
