The change to Loudy was a big improvement. more room, more shade, more vendors, and parking seemed to be fine. I'm sure the shuttle was a big help. In my opinion, the only drawback was the carvers being on the road. That left only the north side of the carvers for watching. Not a huge problem, however. Otherwise, everything was great. Super job Dave and crew.

you hit the nail right square on the head. if the teachers and administrators wish to be treated as professionals and treated with respect, they should dress and act like professionals.

something doesn't add up here!!!! 30 volunteers, an average fire requires 10 - 12 and on occasion only half of that shjow u[p. and willems wants to spend $1.5 million for training. the fire district has way too much money that is burning a hole in their pocket. no pun intended.
and then he tries to bait us by saying our insurance premiums will go down. bet me!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't see a problem with parking downtown. it is rare that i am unable to find a place to park. in my thinking there are two problems that exist. first, in winter the snow banks along the curb are a danger to the older folks in particular. the snow should be removed, but talking to the road and bridge department is like talk ing to one of the lamp posts. they could care less about doing a decent job. second, there should be restrictions on truck traffic downtown. only delivery vehicles should be permitted. it is not a question of if someone gets injured or worse, but when. then again, city council members don't seem to care or take the matter seriously.

There is most likely an independent audit every year. However, there are many different types of audits. If you feel there has been misappropriation of funds or fraud, then you shound hire an independent auditor to look for those specific expenditures. Maybe you should also ask to review the last independent audit.

The MCTA needs to learn how to better promote Northwest Coloardo. However, the Chamber of Commerce should not be that vehicle. They are only interested in obtaining the funds available.
The Chamber only knows how to have one fundraiser after the other to raise money to pay their saleries to have people to run fundraisers. The Chamber does hardly anything to advance commerce in our area.

I hope she is not going to be a clone of her husband in the senate. He not only stated to all in a letter that he was obligated to the budget committee, did not mention his constitutants who elected him, and in voting for tax and “fee” increases turned his back on every senior in Colorado.

It doesn't matter how many teams are. The Rattlers came out the best of the bunch by far.
