All I know is it better be an awfully good piece of tail to lose your job, your marriage, your family, and your life over. A couple hundred bucks on west colfax in denver could have netted Mr. Johnson a better piece with less hassle. As my great grand pappy use to say “think before you dink.” I wish you the best of luck Ken my boy. Sadly though I think your future will not be very rosie.
Thanks for the input Sam. Feedback like that is always beneficial. The hospital needs to have you providing more things like this on a more regular basis. It would build better community relations. Don't get into any he said she said stuff, just answer questions and reports the facts. Thanks again.
How about you start your own paper? Or maybe a news letter? Oh wait how about a blog? huh? how does a blog sound? yeah a blog, where never have so many, said so much, about so little, for so few to read. You would have dozens of readers from all over the world, just think of it!
I agree Nim, what was the question again? You jerked your kid out of school and you want a phone call? Huh? You probably have a lazy little bugger who didn't want to work and it is somehow the teacher and the school's fault? Education has always started at home. You can't expect the teachers and the school system to fix your little monsters. If you took action in your kids' education five years ago you wouldn't have this problem. It's amazing how our dumpy little school system somehow manages to send kids to places like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. How did those kids make it? Hard work, parental support, and a good attitude. The school can't fix attitude problems, that's your job…..and as we can tell from your letter attitude is everything.
I am going to back you up a little on your argument too. I see the sports page covers football, baseball, golf, hockey, etc. How come they don't cover water polo, cricket, or lacrosse? Oh that's right, because 95% of the people in this area don't play those sports. 95% of the population here does have a christian herrritage or does practice a christ centered faith. So when they do articles on reglion they focus on the christian faith because that's what most of us are. If the paper ran around trying to cover every little idea that fell out of tree and called itself a belief system they would have to hire more reports to write articles 95% of wouldn't read anyways.
If you look at how the hospital discards employees without cause or concern, backs out of deals with local doctors, and keeps everyone in the dark about how they are actually doing then this makes pretty good sense. It would seem they are sticking with their strategy of “act first, think later” because they have no accountability to you, me, or anyone.
No complaints Rocky except the fact that we have an ex daily press employee get hired at the hospital and they were able to sell us all a hospital that we can't afford and before the first payment has to be made (or can't be made) they are starting to leave and the daily press hasn't done a single story on it yet. That seems kinda fishy. I have family, friends and neighbors who work at the hospital an all they do is tell me how bad things have gotten. It isn't a “one sided story” as David Moore states. My neighbor is just wonder when they will finally get rid of the CEO. And as she states it “this is great news!”
Oh and how come the Craig Daily Press hasn't run a news story on why two of the three hospital administrators have quite or been fired in the last month? Way to go Daily Press on keep the community informed about what is going on at the hospital they are paying for. Does the Daily Press have a reason for supressing this news?
Well I heard today that their controller, their head of nursing, and their CFO have quit in the last two weeks. My neighbor said that they thing the ship is sinking and the rats are bailing out.
Does that realy stand for AlcoholicsAnonymous? He should explain why he put it in twice. Doesn't seem very logical but I guess it's a reason. I see a post has been repressed. What didn't set right with the CDP that they had to remove it? Post it again so the readers can decide if it has any value.
