OBAMA QUESTIONED
RIight on, Jerry! You made several excellent points in your letter. Obama is no stranger to distorting the truth, and the Acorn scandal should be fully investigated and the guilty parties punished. If this were a Republican job, people would be howling mad. Why isn't the media investigating this? Obviously, they are hooked on Obama. His ability to make obscene amounts of money in this campaign is also a concern. Just what is he promising to whom? Sounds to me like he is selling out the country and the political campaign is becoming affordable only to amoral oligarchs. If Obama is serious about spreading around the wealth, he should, as you say, give a bunch to McCain. (That's a great line, by the way.) In addition, I would also like to add Obama is against clean coal technology (even though the US has 27 % of the world's coal supply), against offshore drilling (we have 19 billion barrels-or 30 years of Saudi imports- off shore, and 10 billion in Alaska), against tax cuts, for partial birth abortion and is a naive sucker for dictators like Chavez, Castro and Putin. French President Nicholas Sarkozy called Obama's stand on Iran "utterly immature" and comprised of"formulations empty of all content." Do we really want a president who would alienate the only proAmerican French leader there has ever been at this critical time? If you saw McCain's press conference after the Russian invasion of Georgia (he was the only president around at the time), he was quite presidential-knowledgeable, confident, forceful and he had a plan. McCain is ready and able to lead. Obama is the patsy of radicals.
