I cannot believe all you badmouths out there that anonymously point some finger at Jeff Corriveau for something so long ago. Don't you all realize what pain and agony he personally suffered then for some poor decision. He long ago paid full measure for his actions. He did so much good for Moffat County it was amazing. Then you guys want to kick him in the teeth years later. You gotta get a life.

l was horrified to read about the bear killer. I agree with Mike Chivington. All I can say is that guy better have eated all 700 pounds of that bear. Or he was killing without purpose.—which to me is a crime against nature.

Done so well!! Now the energy we all wasted needs to be redirected to something important. Like what to get my wife for Christmas. That is a really real problem.

This problem could have been solved a different way. This wouldn't have been a problem if the child had been properly supervised. Then the author could start sharpening his wits a bit, also.

I love it. So many good ideas!! Let's do them all, and print special Craig Dollars to pay for all of them.

This “opinion” by the MCEA is an awkward attempt to sway public opinion, and for all the wrong reasons. I would expect this from the ilk from the NEA, but from Moffat County teachers? These aren't Craig people! Teaching is a high risk profession? In the private world where I have spent most of my adult life, you either excelled or you were pushed out. Kinda Darwinian, eh? Do they even teach Darwin anymore, or has that been replaced by an “everyone equal and the same” philosophy?
The reason to vote against it is simple: get Colorado state laws out of meddling with your school system—let the School Board deal with who gets hired and fired. Delightfully simple!!

I left Craig a long time ago. But my life is still there. 18 years of memories while I was growing up still blow into my mind on occasion, and they are most all very pleasant. So now I am coming home again, to see Craig America. Your little article was pretty nice. Uh, and welcome back —I never left. I was just away for a while.
