Michelle Finkler Copy editor
Michelle Finkler, 23, has been a copy editor at the Steamboat Pilot & Today since November 2006. She originally hails from the Chicago area and previously interned at the Daily Herald of suburban Chicago and Premier Tourism Marketing, a tourism-based publication. Michelle attended Northern Illinois University for two years before transferring to Columbia College Chicago, where she completed her bachelor's degree in journalism. During her studies at Columbia, she worked as a copy editor at the school's newspaper, the Columbia Chronicle. In Michelle's spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, skiing, biking, camping and listening to music. She is writing her first novel, which she hopes to complete in the coming months.
