- As day was preparing to break on Wednesday, 12 members of the Craig Rotary Club headed out on the wet street, flags and cement buckets in tow. They hung up the flags all down Victory Way and Yampa Avenue in remembrance of an event that happened seven years ago, Sept. 11, 2001.

- With his hand on a Bible held by his two young sons, Victor Cordes took his oath Wednesday morning as Craig’s new postmaster.

Holiday spirit is in the air Tuesday night, as French horn player Chris Griffin dons a Santa hat during the Moffat County High School Concert Band's winter concert. Several other band members also wore holiday-themed hats and headbands, some featuring reindeer antlers.
Dawna Brewer, Northwest Colorado Community Health Center medical assistant, tries out an audiometer, which is used for screening for hearing problems. Brewer and fellow NCCHC staff members soon will begin using this new tool at the Health Center, which recently was granted federally qualified health center designation by the state.
