Many veterans attended the Veterans Day activities Wednesday at Moffat County High School.

Veterans Hotline: Activities planned for Veterans Day

Veterans Day, Nov. 11, is the day to honor all veterans. Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane, will host a ceremony starting at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium.

The American Legion Post 62 plans to host a free chili supper for all veterans and their families from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Legion hall, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

American Northwest Realty is sponsoring a free lunch for veterans and their families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 11, Veterans Day, at 105 E. Victory Way. I will issue another reminder later in month.

The Craig Telehealth Clinic sent out postcards reminding veterans to get their flu shots. Unfortunately, the cards came out late. However, the clinic is giving flu shots on a walk-in basis, and the shots still are available.
