I have 2010 calendars in my office. The calendar I have is called “Salute to our Veterans.” These calendars have information on veterans’ Web sites, facts about health issues, and many other pertinent information pieces concerning veterans.

The Craig Veterans Affairs TeleHealth Clinic has received 100 doses of H1N1 vaccine for distribution to veterans. These doses are available by appointment only to veterans enrolled as patients with the VA.

Veterans Day, Nov. 11, is the day to honor all veterans. Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane, will host a ceremony starting at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium.

The American Legion Post 62 plans to host a free chili supper for all veterans and their families from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Legion hall, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

The Craig Telehealth Clinic sent out postcards reminding veterans to get their flu shots. Unfortunately, the cards came out late. However, the clinic is giving flu shots on a walk-in basis, and the shots still are available.
