Now that residents of our county will soon be without emergency medical care, a resounding no!!
DavidMoore, your comment to the article about the Dinosaur ambulance situation convinced me that this money would be better spent taking care of those citizens' needs. Thank you.
If the commissioners want to do something worth while they should pass an ordinance stating that anyone bring fish shocking or fish killing equipment into Moffat County are guilty of tresspass and will be jailed and their equipment confiscated.
An outdoor arena for concerts would be nice, but for 10,000? That is way too big, and there isn't that much of a demand for it. How many concerts do we ever have in this area? 4? 5?....That would be a big expense for very little use. I could think of a few other things we could get more use out of all year long that should be considered before such a specialized project.
Thanks tbarrie, common sense you know.
selket42, go to the discussion thread on this issue, several great comments there. No need for a Red Rocks size amphitheater here. It has been stated that 14 acres are going to be needed for this venture. Red Rocks park is over 600 acres and I am sure the amphitheater is bigger than 14 acres, parking included.
People are in dire need of something vastly more important, lets spend money on something worthwhile, human life.
why build anything new here ever again...they have not maintained what they already own and I doubt they would keep up in maintaining anything new
