An outdoor arena for concerts would be nice, but for 10,000? That is way too big, and there isn't that much of a demand for it. How many concerts do we ever have in this area? 4? 5?....That would be a big expense for very little use. I could think of a few other things we could get more use out of all year long that should be considered before such a specialized project.

Thanks tbarrie, common sense you know. selket42, go to the discussion thread on this issue, several great comments there. No need for a Red Rocks size amphitheater here. It has been stated that 14 acres are going to be needed for this venture. Red Rocks park is over 600 acres and I am sure the amphitheater is bigger than 14 acres, parking included. People are in dire need of something vastly more important, lets spend money on something worthwhile, human life.

why build anything new here ever again...they have not maintained what they already own and I doubt they would keep up in maintaining anything new
