Do you think the reaction of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 officials to reject the City of Craig’s offer of $25,500 for the south portion of what’s known as Craig City Park was a correct one?

I'd like to know the details of the negotiations prior to the city's offer being made to the VFW. The Friday article stated that the " expired in 2009, Neu said negotiations for a new agreement with the city have been less than cordial." Understanding why the negotiations were "less than cordial" will go a long way in helping the public form an opinion.

Even the woman who I pay my water bill to was bad mouthing the VFW...based on what Dave Pike says?

The councils offer was a good starting point if you are negotiating with a person or company you have just met. But that is not how you should treat someone that you have had a working relationship with for 60 plus years. And to to use the week of Veterans Day to stick it to a Veterans organization is just tasteless.
