I agree that MCTA needs a director but I would caution the county to search as long and hard as needed to find a director that will continue the work that the prior director began. I would hate to see MCTA lose all the progress made with it's current partners because a new director is unable to work well with the community.

We need a MCTA director that is mature, positive, a self starter and passionate about Moffat County. If professional this person could work well in any setting. A director like that would be a compliment to the board

I do not pretend to know the inner workings of the system regarding the Tourism Association, but I do say that it needs to remain and grow.
This past 4th of July in Thailand there were numerous Thais wearing Craig shirts that were purchased from the center. My wife probably said it best when I was groaning about the prices. She said “This is where our family is at now.”

Congratulations to the county in looking as long and hard as was needed to find the perfect person for the position. Thank goodness this director can be trusted NOT to continue what the prior director began. Not only is the new Director able to work within her own community but with many others in all of the communities in Moffat County and its neighboring counties and states. With the dedication of the new director and the combined experience on the board MCTA version 3.0 should prove to be the most productive upgrade yet!
