How about he focus on stopping ignorant big name families and their children from wiping their feet on other children and students who are different in some way…. And not turn a blind eye to the bullying that occurs amongst students who are poor or different. That would be a great way to increase attendance rates and grades.

I actually beleive that he needs not only to focus on getting more to graduation, but getting more granduates to continue thier education, whether that be college, trade school. With the economy getting worse, education is going to be more and more valuable. We can no longer just rely on the energy industry to employ our children, which at least one coal company pulling out and the oil and gas industry declining. Kids in Moffat county need to know there is a great big world with a lot of opportunities out there for them if they will just continue to pursue education AFTER highschool.

i think he needs to control everything period,,,,,,including the drop out rate,a program on teen pregnancy that has participation during the school day,,teen bullying,,, drug and alchohol use classes,and purchase a cell phone jammer that is purchased online and install it in the school i could be wrong on some subjects but it is a start,,, ///

I agree with all of you! Graduation rates should be the number one focus, along with fixing what Bergman messed up! new middle school cough. lowering waht tax payers have to pay towards unecessary new building, finding new teachers, pretty much he needs to clear everything and start all over. Since so many girl are getting preganent and dropping out maybe there should be a daycare at a school to keep teen mothers in school!
