It blows my mind that council members bill themselves as Republican then allow the fees and taxation that they do. Nothing like driving business, construction and citizens out of town. We need to vote the “middle of the road” candidates and public office holders out! If we wanted democrats we would vote for them.

selket42-The complaining started long ago. When MJK built the new building, they complained about it. Said if they couldn't get a variance , they would build it across the street-on county property. This didn't just start. Lop just went public with his complaint.

All this complaining started apparently with one contractor deciding he didn't like the idea of proper sidewalks and drains, and maybe a new building that looks like a solid structure, not a pre-fab tin building. I see nothing wrong with expecting new buildings to look like somebody cared to build something that will be here for generations,…not the back lot of an industrial zone
