I see where your Library doesn't have a copy of “The Emporer Wears No Clothes” by Jack Heber. I would suggest if you are really intrested in some “Facts” about Marijuana you get this book (On Line?) and read it - at least look at the pictures. Marijuana has been used for over 2000 years as a medicine. More people die from Aspiran than Marijuana each year. As a matter of fact there has been no one in recorded history die from an 'overdose' of marijuana. Even if you drink too much water it can kill you. Anyway, for what it's worth it has helped me very much. And, were it 'legal' there would be NO drug dealers selling marijuana. It's all about money and Government policy, not the fact that it is a very good medicine when use properly. Always remember you can 'abuse' anything. Please at least read The Emperor Wears No Clother and understand what you're talking about.

No matter how you slice it marijuana is a natural -pain medicine, antidepressant, appetite inducing, nausea reducing - wonderdrug!! My 46 year old father died of cancer of the pancreas and liver in 1988 when I was 18. I cared for him for nearly 1 year after he was diagnosed and cut open and radiated and chemotherapy'd til he died. The first six months he took dilaudid and percocet and compazine and went from 185 lbs down to 135 lbs The last six months of his life he stopped all the pills and only smoked some good skunky weed. He gained 20 lbs back, could eat without throwing up, and had a lot less pain than the first six months. Now I have some of the inherit medical conditions both my mother (she died young also) and father had - one being severe arthritis since I was a teenager. It has disabled me and of course the doctors give me something for pain - I image if I could afford some of that good skunky weed and new where to buy it - I would!!!
