It seems that the visitors center is a great community service. Towns alot smaller than Craig seem to be able to support their visitor centers. When you travel a lot, you come to realize how important they are. They can direct you to resturants, motels, laundrymats, campgrounds and points of interest. During hunting season they are always full of hunters. It would be a real shame it lose it. They make people feel they are welcome in your town. Some of them even hand out goody bags with samples of the little things you sometimes forget-shampoo, toothpaste, and such. How nice.
