Investigator: fire’s cause remains undetermined

Preliminary reports suggest Tuesday night’s fire in Craig that claimed Craig resident Ursula Hunter was accidental. However, officials said a definitive cause has not been determined. John Forgay, a sergeant with the Craig Police Department, is investigating the fire at 1912 Woodland Ave. He said Wednesday the fire department views the fire as accidental. But, he said there are some concerning issues, and he and fire officials have theories on what sparked the blaze.

I see police tape but then there are photos from inside? Did the reporter have permission to enter that residence? It is in poor taste to have these photos posted that is the personal belongings of the home owners one of whom perished. I think the photographer should be arrested for tampering with evidence or trespassing!

The Craig Daily Press appreciates your concern for the residents of this home and yes the photographer was given permission to take the photos that were taken. Thank You Bryce Jacobson Publisher

Police tape that says "DO NOT CROSS" should NOT be crossed. What part of that three word statement did I miss? Come on guys, I know this is Craig, but it's only 3 words and they're all Monosyllabic.
