2011 Tour of Lights in Moffat County December 24, 2011
Thanks to all of this year’s participants in the 2011 Holiday Tour of Lights Contest, sponsored by Yampa Valley Electric Association. The judges chose Brenda Elsbree’s display at 906 Ledford Ct. as the winner because the display provided an experience, combining music with lights. Elsbree will receive $200 for first place. Matt Carter, at 3320 Ridgeview Rd., took second place and will get $125 for his display, which was built around the song, “Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer.” Matt Cassidy, at 885 Rose St., will receive $75 for third place, and John Walker, on the corner of 6th St. and Pershing St., will get $50 for being named honorable mention. All of the winners will also receive a one-year subscription courtesy of the Craig Daily Press. Thanks again to all those who participated.
