Communities at Work: Shedding some winter weight
With snow melting and temperatures rising, this edition of Communities at Work focuses on places for area residents to shed some of their winter weight. Trapper Health Club, 261 Commerce St., offers racquetball and a basketball hoop on top of their selection of free weights, machines and a cardiovascular equipment. Holistic Health & Fitness, 420 Breeze St., also has a variety of machines and weights along with an octagon cage and boxing training accommodations. Zumba Fitness, 29 W. Victory Way, uses music to make working out fun with dance aerobics.
Tonya Mercer, left, and Melissa Kernen walk on treadmills Wednesday at Holistic Health & Fitness. Both work out at the center almost every day and enjoy talking while they exercise.
