Communities at work: A healthier level March 28, 2009
It's a snowy Wednesday afternoon. But, that doesn't stop a steady stream of people walking into Health Works, at 2035 W. Victory Way, from being cheerfully greeted by Daniel Wright, the store's manager. Wright said the store exists to help people get to a healthier level in their lives, and it's packed full of stuff to help achieve that. From spices to herbs to natural cleaning products to soaps, the store keeps a little bit of everything on hand.
Wright stocks products Wednesday in a designated area for wheat- and gluten-free items. Wright said many people choose these foods for allergy and/or dietary concerns.
