Black Mountain Glass does it all. That versatility is something current owner Ralph Stewart like about his business. Stewart took over the business more than nine years ago, but he has been with the company since its inception in 1985. Times have changed. Black Mountain has kept up with demand for new types of windows that are more efficient and cheaper to maintain. Richard Atchley works on a newly replaced windshield June 17 at Black Mountain Glass. Atchley has been working with the company since it opened in 1985.

Black Mountain Glass employee Boots Adams works on a glass tabletop Wednesday in the company's shop. The tabletops will be installed at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehabilitation.
Stefan Ridgeway replaces screens on a frame June 17 at Black Mountain Glass. The company replaces or installs shower doors, mirrors, screens, windows and many other interior or exterior items.
