Communities at work: Kids and Cops at the pond
With a flick of the wrist and cast of the reel, the annual Kids and Cops Fishing Day began Thursday at the Lil' Rascals Pond located behind the Moffat County Public Safety Center. The event featured members of the Moffat County Sheriff's Office, Colorado State Patrol and Craig Police Department serving food and helping youths bag a big one.
Garrett Mercer, 3, trots off to the pond Thursday at the annual Kids and Cops Fishing Day. Children of all ages were invited to the event to try their hand bagging a big fish.
