The sounds of scissors clipping and hair being dried is drowned out by people chatting and laughing. Tranzformations Salon, 487 Yampa Ave., performs all types of hair, nail and waxing services, but it's the connection with people that sets the business apart. "Your clients become you friends," co-owner Nancy Lee said. Lee and co-owner Ruth Anne Greenwood have owned the business for 19 years.
