Communities at Work: Stop at museum February 14, 2009
It was created to help shake off the winter blues. To get people out of the house during those cold wintry days. That's what Wyman Museum office manager Nicky Boulger said. And it's turned into a lot more. The museum's Winter Festival is now a two-day event, with almost too many events to list. Modern snowmachines, a romantic dinner in honor of Valentine's Day, ice carving, and much more will be featured. The festivities begin Saturday and continue through Sunday evening at museum, 94350 Highway 40, just east of Craig. For more information, call the museum at 824-6346. - Hans Hallgren
The track for the X-treme Mountain Sno-X Racing that will take place today and Sunday at the Wyman Museum is shown being prepared earlier in the week. The races are part of the museum's 2009 Winter Festival.
