The seasons are changing
As Moffat County transitions from summer to fall, the county is moving into another hunting season. Gary Troester has been a hunter most of his life. And he says hunting played a part in his chosen profession of more than 30 years, taxidermy. The owner of All Seasons Taxidermy, Troester fills his days working with animals, trophies from hunts that turn into memories and stories to tell. "I'm trying to bring these animals back to life," he said.
Before painting the face, Troester must fill in pinholes that are created throughout the process.
