Fundraising Fun Fest October 31, 2008
It's a tradition stretching back to the late 1980s. It started as a fundraiser to start a children's choir at Craig Christian Church, located at 960 W. Victory Way. Twenty-two years later, the event still is raising money for the choir. However, "It's more about the fun than the fundraising," Trudy Christopher said, laughing. She is a church member and senior director for Fun Fest.
Micah Berkoff, 14, walks through the Blue Haze Maze on Thursday looking for areas that need to be fixed. The maze has been a part of Fun Fest for a number of years, each year keeping with a different theme.
Katie Berkoff, 12, works on the Pong-A-Fish game Thursday at Craig Christian Church. The game is one of about 14 located at the church for kids to play Halloween evening.
