Fall colors October 1, 2008
The fall colors were just beginning to appear when Daily Press reader Chuck Mack snapped this picture nearly two weeks ago on Ripple Creek Pass.
Daily Press reader Chuck Mack captured this rainbow made of brush on a recent drive through Moffat County.
Daily Press reader Chuck Mack recently took a drive down State Highway 40 to the road that goes out to Elkhead Dam and on to California Park. There, he and his wife saw a show of colors that made them stop and take pictures. “The autumn colors seemed to be poking along not in any hurry to change. Then all of a sudden like an explosion everything burst forth and the mountain sides are absolutely breathtaking,” Chuck Mack said.
