Framing business November 15, 2008
It started just after high school. Learning the business of matting and framing from the owners who preceded her, Pam Young eventually purchased the shop. Throughout the years, she drifted away from matting and framing. After the birth of her child, however, Young started the business back up and was able to bring her daughter to work. Years later, she’s still at it. And her daughter went from sleeping in a crib in the back to helping out during the holidays so she could earn Christmas money. Sundrop Custom Framing now resides at 541 Yampa Ave., and Young can be found there hard at work on a daily basis, tailoring to just about anything they bring through the door.
