For the past 21 years, the Muhmes have been taking care of flooring needs. Their company, Bear Valley Flooring, takes care of carpet, vinyl and tile. On this day, they are laying tile inside the Craig Swimming Complex, subcontracting for Pam Designs. The easiest way to get a hold of them is by phone, 846-0771, as they are on the road most of the day, on jobs in Craig or near their home in Hayden.
Roger Muhme uses a tile mortar that will adhere the tile to the concrete floor.
Spacers are used between recently set tile to ensure that joints are spread evenly.
Nancy Muhme cuts tile into smaller pieces. The pieces will be fit against the wall to ensure all the tile fits into the room properly.
Roger Muhme lays two pieces of tile in preparation of setting. Before each piece is set, the tilers make sure it is spaced and jointed properly.
