Critters R Us December 13, 2008
You might call their house a menagerie. They have horses, chickens, rabbits, hamsters, ducks and more. They sport names like Hamzilla, Big Mama and Thumper. Dena Wardlow easily could be called an animal person. And keeping up a house like that is no easy feat. In fact, it was her husband, Randy, who suggested it would be easier and cheaper for Dena to just open her own store. And Critters R Us, at 2005 W. Victory Way, was born.
A ferret peeks out of his cage at Critters R Us. Dena Wardlow says that animals in the store are held every day to keep them friendly.
Dena Wardlow talks about the variety of inventory in her store. She said it has increased because of customers coming in and asking for something to be ordered for their pets.
