Nolan Spears, 2, accepts a piece of candy from Joanna Birdsall on Halloween on Yampa Avenue. Businesses opened their doors to trick-or-treaters from the 400 to 600 block of Yampa with droves showing to take part. Trick-or-treating also was taking place at the Centennial Mall.
