Crossing tracks July 30, 2007
The Rocky Mountain Motocross Association, or RMXA, returned to Craig and the Yampa Valley Sports Rider’s track Sunday. More than 450 riders kicked up the dirt at the one-day event. The local racetrack was voted the top track in Colorado two years ago, but is only scheduled to host one race this summer because of the difficulty to find help to prepare the track for races.
Ryan Sabbaugh of Englewood takes to the air over the tabletop jump during the 25+ races Sunday afternoon. Sabbaugh finished third in the race.
The open beginner racers take the first corner in the afternoon session of the Rocky Mountain Motocross Association races on Sunday. The open beginner class filled the track with 30 riders in one race.
