Movie madness
West Theatre, 29 E. Victory Way, has been a Craig landmark since it was constructed in 1939. It's age and architecture are what make a unique place to see a movie, said theater employee Robin Weible. "It's just neat because this is sort of old and it's becoming part of the past," she said. Now, the theater has two movies per week, with one show Monday through Thursday and two shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weible said she and the other employees enjoy their jobs because they get to visit with moviegoers. "It's pretty fun most of the time," Weible said. Plus, employees get free popcorn. "We never get sick of it," Weible said.
Moviegoers pass through West Theatre's lobby on their way to a movie Thursday evening. The lobby, which has some dated tile, has been untouched, while other parts of the theater - carpeting, wallpaper and seats - have been updated.

Should the Craig Chamber of Commerce revise its State of the County attendance policy to allow people to hear speakers without paying for a ticket?
