Craig at Work for Dec. 8 December 8, 2007
The Winter Arts and Craft Show, at the Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way, is a yearly event. The December show is extension of the November show that grew so much that it could no longer accommodate all vendors. It has been in going on for more than 10 years now. More than 75 crafters set up booths to sell everything including baked goods, jewelry, hand-made items and furniture. Even Santa Claus has set up shop in the mall. The show is open to the public from noon 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
Glenn Pritchard hangs “Begger Beads” hand-made by his wife, Audrey, up with wind chimes Friday afternoon at the Winter Arts and Crafts Show at Centennial Mall. The Pritchards offered an assortment of handmade jewelry and wind chimes at the show.
Gloria Moore ties a bracelet she bought for her daughter, Emily, 4, from a booth with proceeds going to the Special Olympics. The December show offers discounted booth rates to senior citizens, nonprofit organizations and youths raising money for school or church activities.
