Craig Police Department officers responded Friday to a two car crash that closed down all three lanes of Victory Way at Yampa Ave. for about 30 minutes. At about 2 p.m. a Dodge sedan traveling westbound was stopped for a red light in the center lane of Victory Way at Yampa Ave. when it was rear ended by a maroon Chrysler PT Cruiser, said Tony Fandel of CPD. Craig Fire/Rescue firefighters and an ambulance crew from The Memorial Hospital in Craig also responded to the scene. The passenger in the PT Cruiser was transported to TMH for precautionary purposes, Fandel said. No injuries were reported.
