Craig Police Department officers responded Friday to a two-car crash that shut down all three lanes of Victory Way at Yampa Avenue for about 30 minutes. At about 2 p.m., a Dodge sedan traveling west was stopped at a red light in the center lane of Victory Way at Yampa Avenue. It was rear-ended by a maroon Chrysler PT Cruiser, said Tony Fandel, of CPD. Craig Fire/Rescue firefighters and an ambulance crew from The Memorial Hospital in Craig also responded to the scene. The passenger in the PT Cruiser was transported to TMH for precautionary purposes, Fandel said. No other injuries were reported.
