Not even Moffat County's critters are immune to the recent high temperatures. This mule deer has found a nice place to cool off for the afternoon. She's so fond of it that she returns there almost every day as the sun nears its zenith in the sky. Mule deer tend to become almost dormant during the day, venturing out to forage at about dusk.
