Zach Beauchamp, a senior lineman on the Moffat County High School football team, earned a 3A All-State Honorable Mention selection from the Denver Post. He was a team captain and led the Bulldogs in sacks on the season.
Fire investigators think a heating element on this heater-treater failed Thursday igniting a fire near a pump jack on Colorado Highway 394 and Moffat County Road 33. Craig Fire Rescue firefighters contained the fire at about 2:15 p.m. No injuries were reported.
