Moffat County Commissioner John Kinkaid, left, signs his official documents Tuesday after being sworn in by Moffat County Court Judge Sandra Gardner. “William Henry Harrison served office for 30 days," Kinkaid told dozens of spectators who attended the ceremony in the upstairs conference room of the Moffat County Courthouse. "He insisted on riding a horse to his inauguration against the advice of his friends on a very cold day. "William Henry Harrison served 30 days as President of the United States and it is my intent to beat him as your Moffat County Commissioner by three years and 11 months.”
