The Craig Middle School seventh-grade A Team lost to Steamboat in three sets. Both seventh grade teams from CMS were playing in new uniforms. The jerseys were bought with a donation from Twentymile Mine and made by Chaos Ink, while the shorts were bought by the Moffat County Athletic Department and came from Hibbett Sports.

Each class at MCHS built a float and for the parade and competed in a contest sponsored by the Moffat County Booster Club. The freshman class float was sponsored by Kruse Builders, the sophomore float by Samuelson’s True Value and Hardware, the junior float by Yampa Valley Bank and the senior float by the Craig Daily Press. The freshman float won.
