A crash occurred on South Highway 13 at mile marker 65 Tuesday evening around 4:40 p.m. Between Hamilton and Meeker, one person was involved and was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Alex Hamilton, an eighth grader at Craig Middle School, writes a drug free message on her red balloon Tuesday afternoon. It’s red ribbon week, and in an effort to encourage students to stay drug free the entire middle school released balloons with messages Tuesday afternoon along with hearing a presentation from Craig resident Matt Beckett about his own struggle with drugs and alcohol.

Ryun Pressgrove, 3, left, and his brother, Jonas Pressgrove, 1-1/2, of Craig, read “Llama Llama Red Pajama” October 26 at their home. The book is one of many included in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, which launches in Moffat and Rio Blanco counties in November. The program, presented locally by Moffat County Youth United Way and Connections 4 Kids, mails a free book to each registered child each month until age 5.
