Business slowed late Friday night at Walmart in Craig as the annual Black Friday sale came to a close. The Craig chain is expected to join its sister locations throughout the country in reporting improved sales numbers over 2011.
Recipe binders like this one have been flying off the shelves at The Kitchen Shop, 577 Yampa Ave. Co-owner Nadine Daszkiewicz said the binder makes a perfect holiday gift for shoppers looking to pass something down to their children.
Hundreds of Craig residents flooded the aisles Friday at Walmart for the box retailer's annual Black Friday sale. Despite employee protests and customer violence at chains across the country, Walmart reported 2012 marked the best ever Black Friday sale.
