Quicksilver Resources, Inc. is currently producing oil from its Stoddard Well (above) located off of Fawn Creek Trail about five miles south of Craig. Five more wells are scheduled to come online in that area before the end of the summer. The Moffat County Commission on Thursday approved a conditional use permit for Quicksilver to build the Stoddard Central Tank Battery, which will serve as a collection and transport facility for the oil produced from those six wells.
