The Best Western Deer Park Inn & Suites is one of seven Craig businesses possibly constructed on top of contaminated soils and groundwater reserves. The Best Western and others were constructed on the sites of an oil refinery and an oil storage facility operated by Texaco, Inc., on the west side of Craig.
