Bulldogs struggle at the plate, fall to Palmer Ridge, 8-0

After a two-year hiatus from the state playoffs, the Moffat County High School baseball team returned to the post season Saturday at Palmer Ridge High School. The Bulldogs, however, couldn’t overcome the hitting and pitching that led Palmer Ridge to a No. 1 seed, falling in the first round, 8-0. “We mad a couple of mistakes and errors that allowed Palmer Ridge to get a couple of extra runs they shouldn’t have had,” head coach Justin Folley said. “Coming in as the No. 32 seed playing the best team, we played our game and didn’t change up a whole lot.”
