Frani Jenkins, a physician’s assistant with the VNA in Craig, wears traditional Vietnamese clothing on the eve of her sixth medical mission to Vietnam. Jenkins, along with other volunteers, will provide medical and dental care to rural communities throughout the communist country.
Frani Jenkins, a physician’s assistant with the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association in Craig, will be in Vietnam for the next 17 days. Jenkins is a volunteer for Children of Peace International, an organization that provides free health and dental care to orphanages and schools in rural communities throughout the communist country. This is Jenkins’ sixth medical mission to Vietnam.
