Bulldogs stifle Union in 67-29 victory on opening night

In the first game of the season Friday, the Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team jumped out to a 10-0 lead over Union High School. Before the season started, head coach Matt Ray said his team would have to come out ready to go if they wanted to make a push for the state playoffs. During the opening game of the Uintah Classic Tournament, Ray said the Bulldogs did just that on way to a 67-29 victory. “We came out on fire,” he said. “The girls set the tempo right out the gate and played really well in the first game.”
