Smoke pours from a home just west of Milner on U.S. Highway 40 on Monday night. Members of West Routt Fire Protection District and the Routt County Sheriff's Office responded to the fire, which was reported shortly after 8 p.m. Luke Berlet was at home with his three children when the fire broke out. Everyone made it out of the home safely.
